God is in Control

Read through these verses this week and remember, we can rejoice always because God is in control ALWAYS!
Exodus 3:7–9 
Then the Lord said, “I have observed the misery of my people in Egypt, and have heard them crying out because of their oppressors. I know about their sufferings, and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. So because the Israelites’ cry for help has come to me, and I have also seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them,

Exodus 6:6–9 
“Therefore tell the Israelites: I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from the forced labor of the Egyptians and rescue you from slavery to them. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and great acts of judgment. I will take you as my people, and I will be your God. You will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the forced labor of the Egyptians. I will bring you to the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.” Moses told this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him because of their broken spirit and hard labor.

Genesis 39:20–21 
(Pharaoh was furious) and had him thrown into prison, where the king’s prisoners were confined. So Joseph was there in prison. But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him. He granted him favor with the prison warden.

Genesis 50:20 
You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result—the survival of many people.
John 13:7 
Jesus answered him, “What I’m doing you don’t realize now, but afterward you will understand.”

2 Corinthians 4:17–18
For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

Philippians 4:6
Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Romans 12:12
Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.
