We are passionate about fulfilling our part of the Great Commission of Jesus by taking the Good News of Jesus out to the world. To do this, we offer opportunities to serve locally, nationally and internationally. Check out below for a list of some upcoming opportunities for you and your family to serve.

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
Matthew 28:19

To get involved in any of these ministries of Celebration Baptist Church, please contact Audrey Johnson at (850) 893-1709 or ajohnson@icelebration.org.
  • All Things New Restoration- a ministry that serves the needs of those that have suffered a tragic loss in their home by providing biohazard cleanup, restoration and counseling services.
  • Immigration Ministry- partnering with other local ministries to meet the needs of migrant works and immigrants in Tallahassee and the greater Leon County area.
  • Prison Ministry- working with the Gadsden Re-Entry Center.
Celebration Groups regularly participate in local community outreach projects with our ministry partners. Everything from hosting birthday parties and buying Christmas gifts for children in need to clean up projects at shelters and other outreach ministries, the Celebration family can be found hard at work! Want to get involved? Ask your group leader or contact Missions & Outreach Coordinator, Audrey Johnson.

Anyone wishing to participate in a national or international mission trip must complete a Mission Trip Application. Click here to fill yours out today.
All participants in international mission trips must also attend Ready Set Go, a training class led by Pastor David Emmert. Once you have signed up for a trip, you will be contacted when the next Ready Set Go class is scheduled. On online version of Ready Set Go will be available soon.

The cost for all mission trips are broken down into several payments to make it easier for the participants. Schedules are below for each trip.

We encourage participants in mission trips to send out support letters to their friends and families. This allows them to participate in your trip with you through prayer and giving. The Ready Set Go class will walk you through best practices when it comes to fundraising ethically and politely.

If you are going on an international trip you will need to apply for a passport, check on immunization and visa requirements and other tasks unique to leaving the United States. The Ready Set Go class will walk you through this process.
Once your mission team has been formed, you will participate in an X-Group together. This group will meet weekly for eight weeks prior to your trip, developing the skills you will need in the field and building relationships that will make your trip even better.
The Sunday before you leave on your trip, your mission team will be introduced to the church family in each of the Sunday worship services. The congregation will pray for you before you leave and commit to pray for you while you are on the field.
Due to weight restrictions placed on baggage by the airlines and the need to carry supplies for many mission trips, packing parties are a necessity for most trips. The team will get together with all their luggage and everything they are packing. They will order dinner and then figure out how to divide all that needs to be packed in order to avoid baggage fees.
This is the part you’ve been waiting for! You and your team will travel together, serve the Lord and the people of the region you are visiting. We can’t wait for your return to hear all that the Lord did through you while you were away!
When you return from your trip your team will meet with Celebration leadership to discuss what went great on your trip and what could use improvement for the next team that travels to work with those ministry partners. You will also plan for your Share Time.
The final step! You’ve gone on an amazing trip that your friends and family have helped support through their giving, prayers and more. Now it’s time to invite them and the church family to join you and the rest of your mission team for a potluck meal. At this meal you all will share stories and pictures of your trip to celebrate all that the Lord has done.
